Choo Choo Birthday Cake

Whether you are a youngster or only young at heart, you are likely to be a fan of the Choo Choo bar. These delicious chocolate treats are a fantastic snack, but can also be a great inspiration for a very special birthday cake. Trains are popular with kids of all ages, so a train birthday cake is the perfect way to showcase your favourite Choo Choo bar. Perth home bakers will find that this cake looks fantastic but is fairly straightforward to make.

Ingredients for One Medium Sized Cake:

225 gram of softened unsalted butter
225 grams caster sugar
225 grams of self raising flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
4 eggs

Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 180 degrees. Cream the sugar and butter together until it is light and creamy. Beat in each of the eggs slowly and once they are incorporated fold in the flour and baking powder.

Divide the cake mixture into four 25 x 8 centimetre bar tins. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown. Allow the all the cakes to cool fully on a wire rack before assembling and decorating.

Making the Train:

You will need a 225 gram sponge roll,
red, blue, apricot, purple and green food colouring
1 package of thin liquorice
Chocolate sprinkles,
20 round chocolate biscuits
A pack of chocolate buttons
1 Ice cream wafer
A few pieces of popcorn
Choo Choo bars for decoration
A wooden skewer, a pipe cleaner and a serving board.
You will also need buttercream for filling and icing.

Cut each of the bar cakes vertically to create eight pieces. Five of these pieces will be needed to make the back of the engine and the tops of the train carriages. The remaining three pieces need to be cut horizontally to create the bases of the carriages and the engine. The piece needs to be cut to create a quarter size piece.

Create the engine smoke stack by cutting a four centimetre slice off, holding it upright and using a plain cutter. The rest of the sponge roll will be needed to make the engine.
Use the buttercream as the glue to assemble your train. You will need to tint small amounts of the buttercream different colours for each of the carriages. Cover the sides and tops of the carriages and engine. Outline the tops of the carriages and the engine with thin liquorice.

Cover the sides and top of your smoke stack with red tinted buttercream and coat with the chocolate sprinkles. Use your wooden skewer to make a hole through several pieces of popcorn and thread them onto the pipe cleaner. This should be inserted into the smokestack.

Use a Choo Choo bar to create the effect of railway sleepers. Use the chocolate biscuits to represent wheels and use the chocolate buttons for additional detail. Finally, attach a strip of wafer to the front of the engine as a “cow catcher”.

How Much Sugar is actually in Your Favourite Fizzy Drink?

Whether your choice of fizzy drink is cola, ginger beer or grape Fanta, if you are concerned about losing weight you will need to consider how much sugar you are actually drinking each day. Popular fizzy drinks often contain quite a lot of sugar, so before you reach for that glass of grape Fanta, Australia based consumers should be aware how much sugar it contains.

How Much Sugar?
Most cola or Fanta grape bottles can be a little confusing when you are looking to see the sugar content. Since many drinks list the amount per 100 millilitres, yet bottles and cans can contain up to 500 millilitres this can often be deceiving. However, if you are looking to minimize your sugar, grape Fanta is actually one of the best choices. Recent research found that Coca-Cola and ginger beer are actually some of the worst offenders for high sugar content. You can expect to find that many fizzy drinks contain the equivalent of six teaspoons of sugar in a 330 millilitre serving. However, brand such as Old Jamaica ginger beer contains almost thirteen teaspoons of sugar in a serving.

This means that if you are used to drinking two or three cans of ginger beer each day, you will be consuming approximately 40 teaspoons or 200 grams of sugar in a day. This is more sugar than you would find in almost ten doughnuts. This is obviously not great if you are watching your weight.

So Can You Still Enjoy Grape Fanta?
Yes, of course, you can still enjoy your favourite Grape Fanta and still have a healthy balanced diet. The key to reducing your sugar intake is moderation. Of course, if you spend your entire day only consuming fizzy drinks, this will mean lots of sugar. However, if you restrict your intake to one Fanta grape bottle a day, you can still enjoy a great taste without consuming lots and lots of sugar.

According to World Health Organisation guidelines, your sugar intake should be less than 10% of your total daily calories. Ideally, this should be reduced to 5%. Estimates suggest that 5% of your daily intake is approximately 25 grams of sugar. This means that if you are consuming an average calorie diet of between 2,500 and 3,500 calories, you should restrict your intake to just one can a day.

Obviously controlling your intake is an important consideration for managing your weight. However, you will also need to consider eating healthy foods such as fresh fruit and vegetables and maintaining a regular exercise routine. Making these simple yet basic lifestyle changes will help you to manage your weight, feel healthier and still enjoy your favourite fizzy drink, of course in moderation!

This means that you need to check that the company offers value for money. There are a number of different suppliers who offer discounts when ordering bulk lollies online.

Since you are buying online, you will need to assess what delivery options are available. The last thing you want is your delicious lollies sat around a courier warehouse for days. Ideally, the company should offer fast delivery without charging you the earth.

Does the Company Offer Gifts and Special Packaging:
If you are looking for a sweet and delicious treat for a friend, family member or business associate, you need to check whether the company offers special packaging or sweet gifts. Some companies can also arrange personalised sweets and chocolates for use as client gifts or to commemorate a special occasion.

Does the Company Offer Promotions?
Everyone loves a bargain, so ideally your chosen online lolly shop will offer promotional discounts and offers from time to time. After all, if you are looking for lolly buffet supplies, even a small promotional discount can really add up.

Is There Good Customer Service?
While online shopping is usually simple and convenient, it can be problematic if the company does not have a good customer service policy. Is your email enquiry answered promptly? Does your chosen company have a clear returns policy? What happens if your order is incorrect? All of these seemingly minor issues can become a real problem if the company lacks concern for their customer’s satisfaction.

Is There a Wide Selection?
While you may have a particular favourite sweet, it is a good idea to choose an online store that has a wide selection. Ideally, your chosen store will offer a great choice of sweets, chocolates and other tasty treats. This will mean that when you are looking for Christmas gifts or treats for a birthday party, you already know that you have a reliable and trusted provider.

White Chocolate Raspberry Scones

If white chocolate raspberry bullets were your first pick when you visited lolly shops as a child, then you will absolutely adore these white chocolate raspberry scones. Raspberry and white chocolate have always been a great flavour combination, but these deliciously sweet scones will have you reminiscing about your favourite childhood sweets. Not only do these scones taste great but they are amazingly moist, making them a hit with both children and adults alike.

Ingredients to Make Sixteen Scones:
560 grams of flour
175 grams of granulated sugar
½ teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
225 grams of butter chilled
175 grams of white chocolate chips plus extra for decoration
225 milliliters of sour cream
175 grams of fresh raspberries
2 eggs
4 teaspoons of almond extract
1 egg diluted with 2 teaspoons of water to create an egg wash

Method:
Whisk the flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda and sugar together in a large bowl. Cut the chilled butter into fairly small pieces and add them to the flour. Using your fingers rub in the butter until the mixture resembles crumbs. Fold in the white chocolate chips.

In a different bowl, whisk the eggs, almond extract and sour cream together until fully incorporated. Add the mixture to the flour using a fork to combine until you form large clumps. Gently fold the raspberries into the mixture taking care not to crush the raspberries. Some of the berries will break, but you don’t want a raspberry puree. Use a rubber spatula or hands to form the dough into two balls. The dough will be quite wet but wrap each ball in plastic wrap and chill for at least a minimum of an hour or until it has become easier to work with. At this point, you can store the dough in the fridge for up to two days.

Preheat your oven to 200c and prepare your baking sheets by lining them with parchment paper.

Flour your work surface and pat each of the dough balls down until they are 1.5 centimetres thick. Use a sharp knife or cookie cutter to shape your scones. Although traditional scones are circular, these white chocolate raspberry scones look very attractive as triangles. Place the scones on the baking sheets but be sure to leave a gap of two centimetres around each scone.

Brush the tops of each of your scones with the egg wash and bake for approximately fifteen minutes or until they are a light golden brown colour. Be careful not to over bake the scones as they will quickly become dry. Allow the scones to cool o a wire rack.
To decorate melt 75 grams of white chocolate chips and drizzle the melted chocolate over the scones. Allow the chocolate to set before you store them in an airtight container. The scones taste the best within twenty-four hours, but they can be stored for up to two days.

If these delicious scones put you in the mood for a traditional sweet treat, contact us. We have a wide selection of traditional favourites including white chocolate raspberry bullets.

20 grams of cocoa powder
1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
40 grams room temperature unsalted butter
120 millilitres of milk (whole dairy or nut)
1 egg
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt

For the Frosting:
175 grams of softened unsalted butter
225 grams of sifted icing sugar
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

Method:
Line a cupcake tray with paper muffin cases and preheat your oven to 170c.
Sift the cocoa powder, flour, salt and baking powder and mix in with the butter and sugar until everything is well combined. Whisk the egg, vanilla extract and milk in a separate bowl or jug. Add to the flour and butter mixture and slowly beat in until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
Spoon into the paper cases until they are ¾ full. Bake for twenty to twenty-five minutes until a skewer comes out clean. Allow the cupcakes to cool slightly while in the tray before you allow them to cool completely on a wire rack.

To decorate, whisk the butter and icing sugar together until smooth and creamy. Beat in the vanilla extract. You can use a pallet knife to spread the frosting on top of each cupcake or pipe it into fluffy clouds. If you are feeling particularly artistic, you can create a blue sky with coloured frosting before piping on your clouds.

Cut several TNT Rainbow Straps into pieces three or four centimetres long. Curve the strap into a rainbow and mount it on the cupcake using the frosting. Allow the cupcakes to chill and allow the butter icing to set. Just remember not to stack the cupcakes for the display as you may crush your rainbow and ruin the whole effect.

How to Make the Best A&W Root Beer Float

An A&W Root Beer Float has been a popular treat for decades. The A&W Root Beer Spider or float originated from Philadelphia in 1874. The float was reputed to have been created by Robert McCay Green when he ran out of ice for his drinks stall and used the vanilla ice cream from another vendor to create a new drink. However, Green’s account is that he deliberately created the new drink to tempt customers away from a competitor who had a bigger soda fountain than his own. Green’s first floats were soda water with vanilla ice cream and one of sixteen flavoured syrups.

The A&W Root Beer Float:

The A&W chain has become well known for their floats made with A&W Root Beer. Often referred to as a “Black Cow”, a traditional float is made with vanilla ice cream and root beer. However, there are regional variations that use chocolate ice cream to make a “brown cow”.

The company has seen such popular demand for their floats; it inspired a range of “Float” beverages. This range includes A&W Root Beer bottles, Cream Soda and Sunkist flavours to simulate the taste of a creamy ice cream float.

Instructions to Make a Standard Root Beer Float:

You will need 16 oz A&W Root Beer bottles and vanilla ice cream. One bottle should be sufficient to create two large floats. All you need to do is fill your glasses approximately three-quarters with root beer. Place the glasses on a tray or plate to avoid making a mess if the float fizzes over.

Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream slowly into each glass and slowly top up the glass with root beer. As the root beer hits the ice cream, it will turn foamy, so keep drizzling until the glass is filled to the top. Take care as once the ice cream starts to float, the glasses may overflow.

You will need to eat your float slowly to avoid brain freeze. Be sure to scoop up both ice cream and root beer with your spoon to enjoy the famous creamy texture and flavour of a traditional float. Serve the floats with straws so that you can sip the remaining creamy, dreamy root beer left at the bottom of the glass.

If you enjoyed your traditional float, try different flavour combinations. Try a “brown cow” with chocolate or get a little experimental with toffee or fudge ice creams. Just remember that the flavour of the ice cream should complement the root beer, so avoid mint choc chip or other complicated flavours that could clash. Kids and adults alike love root beer floats, so next time it’s a particularly hot day be sure that you have plenty of A&W Root Beer bottles on hand.

If you are wondering where can I buy root beer in glass bottles or A&W Root Beer floats, contact us. We have a wide selection of traditional sweets, imported candy and other tasty treats including A&W Root Beer. Our team would be delighted to help you to find the perfect treat for any occasion.

Choo Choo Bar Inspired Birthday Cake

If you grew up in the 1960s, 70s or 80s, you are likely to remember the deliciously chewy chocolate and liquorice Choo Choo bar. With the re-launch of Choo Choo bars, Perth sweet enthusiasts can relive these childhood moments. However, if you have become a little obsessed with this deliciously delightful treat, you are sure to enjoy this Choo Choo bar inspired birthday cake.

Why a Choo Choo Bar Cake?
Liquorice provides a sharper, simpler and sweeter taste compared to cinnamon, making it the perfect complement to chocolate. The flavour of liquorice cuts through the rich chocolate to ensure that while this cake tastes decadent, it doesn’t feel heavy. Be sure to note that the liquorice flavour will intensify as the cake is left, so if there are any leftovers, you are sure to satisfy that liquorice and chocolate craving.

Making the Cake:
To make a cake inspired by a classic Choo Choo bar, Perth sweet enthusiasts will need 225 grams of flour, 85 grams cocoa powder, 350 grams sugar, 1 ½ teaspoons baking soda, 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder, 2 eggs, 125 millilitres vegetable oil, 250 millilitres milk, 250 millilitres hot water, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, 2 bars of liquorice. This will make an eight-inch round cake.

Preheat your oven to 180 degrees. Chop the liquorice into small pieces and melt into the hot water. In a separate bowl mix all of the dry ingredients and beat in the eggs, milk and oil until well combined. Gradually add the liquorice water to the batter until it is smooth but watery.
Divide the mixture into two eight inch prepared cake tins. Bake for approximately thirty minutes or until a skewer can be inserted and come out clean. Allow to cool completely before icing.

Decorating the Cake:

This cake is perfectly complemented with a rich chocolate ganache. This ganache can be made by melting 200 grams of good quality dark chocolate and whisking in 200 millilitres of double cream. This process should be done slowly, so it is a good idea to melt the chocolate in a bowl heated over a pan of hot water. Be sure not to over-whisk as this will cause the chocolate to seize. Allow the ganache to cool and thicken, before using it to fill and ice the two halves of the cake. For added decoration, consider scattering a Choo Choo bar chopped into small pieces over the top of the ganache before it has properly set. Allow the ganache to cool completely before attempting to slice.

This cake makes a fantastic and sophisticated birthday cake or a delicious dessert for any special occasion. Just be sure to make enough for everyone, as once your guests enjoy a slice, they will be coming back for more of that great Choo Choo bar taste.

If you are craving a Choo Choo bar Perth sweet enthusiasts should contact us. We offer a wide selection of classic candy bars, imported chocolates and other delicious sweet treats including the Choo Choo bar. Our team of sweet enthusiasts would be delighted to assist you in sourcing your favourite sweets for any occasion.

Chocolate Pop Tarts Vs Toaster Strudels

If you’re in the mood for a deliciously delightful snack, you may be faced with a decision between toaster strudels and Pop Tarts. Australia-based consumers may consider these snacks to be one and the same, but there are some major differences.

The Basics:
The main difference between toaster strudels and chocolate Pop Tarts is how they are sold. Toaster strudels are frozen and have separate packets of icing to be added once you have heated the strudel in a toaster oven. However, since Pop Tarts are not frozen, it is possible to buy Pop Tarts online. Perth consumers can even eat their tarts straight out of the packet or heat them in a toaster.

Flavours:
In addition to chocolate, Pop Tarts are available in fifty flavours. The original flavours of blueberry, apple currant, strawberry and brown sugar cinnamon are now complemented with chocolate chip cookie, peanut butter and of course, chocolate. There are also new frostings, limited editions and whole grain variants available.

On the other hand, Toaster strudels are only available in a limited number of flavours. The most popular are apple, cinnamon, blueberry, cherry and chocolate fudge.

Storage:
Since Toaster Strudels are frozen, they need to be stored in the freezer until you heat them in a toaster oven. This limitation means that you can’t carry a toaster strudel around with you for a handy snack. Since chocolate Pop Tarts can be eaten out of the packet, they can be used as a mid-morning snack, even if you don’t have access to a toaster. However, you will find that the tarts taste even better when heated. Just be careful not to heat them for too long as you could find yourself with a burnt chin from an excessively hot filling.

Nutrition:
When you are looking for a delicious snack, you are unlikely to be overly concerned about the nutritional value. However, it is worth being aware of what you are eating. With average Pop Tarts, Australia-based consumers will be eating 200 calories, which includes 20 grams of sugar and 5 grams of fat. This can vary according to the specific flavour. Toaster Strudels have similar calories with an average of 190 calories each. However, this includes more fat at an average of 9 grams. Again, this varies according to the specific flavour and whether you add the optional icing package onto the strudel.

Whether you are in the mood for a sweet snack or a tasty breakfast treat, with Pop Tarts Australia based consumers will find a delicious option. With a wide range of flavours and delicious frostings, you will find a variant to suit your particular sweet craving at any time.

If you would like to buy Pop Tarts online Perth consumers should contact us. We have a wide selection of sweet treats including chocolate Pop Tarts. We specialise in classic sweets and imported treats from around the world. Our team of sweet enthusiasts would be happy to answer any questions you may have and assist you with your order.

Five Things You Might Not Know About Irn Bru

After whisky, haggis and Gerard Butler, Irn Bru is probably Scotland’s most famous export. This delicious soft drink is considered by some to be the ultimate hangover cure and is popular with adults and kids alike. However, here are five things about Irn Bru Australia - based girder enthusiasts might not know.

Irn Bru Has an Impressive History:
When it comes to Irn Bru, Perth consumers may be surprised to know that this soft drink has been around since 1901. The “aerated water” drink was originally called Strachan’s Brew and was launched by Andrew Barr in Falkirk. The name was changed to Iron Brew, but in 1946 it was rebranded as Irn Bru due to new regulations regarding product naming. Since the drink was not brewed, Barrs needed to register a new name. Since then Irn Bru has dominated the soft drinks market in Scotland, even outselling global giant Coca-Cola.

The First Advertising Campaigns Ran for Decades:
While many of us are remember the “made in Scotland from Girders” advertising campaign, which became iconic around the world, one of early advertising campaigns was very long term. One of the first long-running campaigns ran between the 1930s and 1970s. This campaign features a comic called “The Adventures of Ba-Bru and Sandy”. This comic was inspired by “Sabu the Elephant Boy” by Rudyard Kipling. The character was also used in neon sign advertising, which was placed at Glasgow Central Station for years.

It Contains Metal:
It is thought that the “girders” advertising slogan was a reference to the orange rust colour of the drink. However,  does contain iron. The drink contains 0.002 percent of ammonium ferric citrate, which is a food additive that contains iron hydroxide.

The Recipe is Only Known by Three People:
Despite the fact that Irn Bru is not just made in Scotland and is manufactured in Russia, Norway, the United States and Canada, reportedly the recipe is only known by three people in the world. Reportedly Former Irn Bru chairperson Robin Barr, the Legal Affairs Manager Julie Barr and one other board director never travel together on the same plane. The identity of the board director is also kept confidential just in case.

Irn Bru is Popular with Celebrities:
Although we imagine celebrities always to be drinking champagne, Irn Bru is a popular choice. The drink was referenced in “The St Stephen’s Day Murders” song by Elvis Costello and the “Cop Yer Whack for This” 1975 Billy Connolly album. This dedication was a more veiled reference to the apparently magical properties as a hangover cure as he thanked the Barrs for saving his life on Sunday mornings.
Sir Sean Connery also chose a crate of Irn Bru in the National Museum of Scotland, when asked to contribute for a celebrity exhibition. However, this exhibit went against trend, since 71 percent of fans favour a glass bottle rather than a can.

If you would like to know more about Irn Bru Perth girder enthusiasts should contact us. We specialise in offering classic sweets, imported chocolates and other sweet treats. Our team of sweet enthusiasts would be delighted to answer any questions and assist you in sourcing your favourite snacks and sweets including Irn Bru.

Make Your Party Unique With a Dr Pepper Cake

As the children get older, it is often more and more of a challenge to make their birthday celebrations special. While teenagers want to celebrate on their own, parents often want to be still involved. Although a teenager may balk at the prospect of a kiddies party, you can liven up the celebrations with a few more sophisticated choices including a Dr Pepper cake. Why Dr Pepper? Dr Pepper has been around since the 1800s, and a Dr Pepper bottle is still considered a real treat. However, this unique flavour is not only refreshing but can add a sophisticated flavour to even a basic birthday cake. You can also team this tasty flavour with Dr Pepper inspired decoration, decorating your cake like a can or bottle of Dr Pepper. Australia-based parents could also incorporate the Americana into the party theme, serving hot dogs and burgers, while the teenagers enjoy a movie.

Making a Dr Pepper Cake: The ingredients for a Dr Pepper cake are relatively basic. All you need is 400 grams of sugar, 225 grams of butter or margarine, 100 millilitres of buttermilk, 250 millilitres of Dr Pepper, 2 eggs, 4 tablespoons cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon and 450 grams of flour.
To make the cake, mix the Dr Pepper together with the cocoa until well combined and set aside. In a separate bowl, cream the butter and sugar, slowly add the eggs and buttermilk. Fold in the flour, baking soda and cinnamon, before adding in the liquid and vanilla. Mix until the ingredients are smooth and well combined. Pour the mixture into a greased cake tin and bake for twenty to thirty minutes at 180 degrees. Allow to cool completely before icing. If you wish, you can create a very intense Dr Pepper bottle experience by using flavoured icing. Mix two tablespoons of Dr Pepper into chocolate butter icing and beat thoroughly until smooth.
Decorating the Cake: How you decorate the cake is a purely personal preference. This recipe makes a very attractive chocolate cake, so you could choose to split the cake, fill and ice it. Decorating with birthday candles and colourful edible decorations. Alternatively, if you are feeling very creative, you could create a Dr Pepper bottle on a white fondant icing base to lay on top of the cake. The History of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups

Peanut butter has been a popular snack since it was created over one hundred years ago. While this is a great choice for cookies, muffins and even just basic sandwiches, the creation of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups took this sweet delicious spread to a whole new level. Here is just a brief insight into the history of these iconic chocolate treats.

In the Beginning:

When it comes to Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Australia based consumers may be forgiven for thinking this milk chocolate snack is only a decade or two old. However, this is not the case and the original Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups were created back in 1928. The inventor Harry Burnett Reese was originally a dairy farmer and shipping foreman for Milton Hershey of the Hershey Candy company. However, he found himself inspired by Hershey and made the decision to quit dairy farming and begin his own candy company. The H.B Reese Candy Co had humble beginnings in the basement of Reese’s home in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Reese was originally working at a Hershey Corporation dairy farm and he experimented using Hershey chocolate in his new confection creations. The peanut butter cups were considered to be his most popular candy line and eventually all the other products were discontinued.

The Involvement of the Hershey Chocolate Corporation When Reese died in May 1956, the ownership of his company passed to his six sons. However, in July 1963, the brothers decided to merge the H.B Reese Candy Co with the Hershey Chocolate Corporation. This decision was a tax free stock for stock merger, which left each of the six brothers with 666,316 common shares in Hershey. These had a value of $23.5 million in 1963, so it demonstrated the massive impact these humble little chocolate and peanut butter cups had on the confectionary industry. The H.B Reese Candy Co is still maintained as a subsidiary of the Hershey corporation and in 2012, it was ranked as the United States best selling candy brand, with sales totalling $2.6 billion USD. It was also ranked as the fourth best global selling candy brand, taking the sales total up to $2.679 billion USD. This means that only 2.8 percent of the company’s sales come from outside of the United States.

Product Variety:
These days there is a wide product variety for the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. Australia based consumers may only be able to source the traditional milk chocolate cups, but American consumers can enjoy white chocolate, fudge, dark chocolate, banana, marshmallow and even hazelnut peanut butter cups. There are over a dozen varieties, with the company producing limited edition varieties for holidays and events such as Halloween, Christmas, Valentine’s Day and Easter.

Personalised Lollies as Tasty Corporate Gifts

If you are looking for corporate gifts to convey your message to clients and potential clients, you may think that you need to invest a huge sum of money. However, this is not the case and with a visit to lolly shops, Perth business leaders may see that personalised lollies can be one of the sweetest and tastiest ways of promoting your business.

You may consider that your business does not particularly appeal to children, but this does not matter. Even clients of garages appreciate being able to distract their children with a lolly while they are waiting for their vehicle to be put through a service. Lollies are so versatile that they can be used to promote any business and with the discounts available on bulk lollies, Perth business leaders will see that they can offer a cost effective way to promote your brand.

Printed Lollies:
One of the most effective ways of promoting your business is to give out lollies printed with your logo or business details. Your company details will quite literally be in the hands of potential clients as they savour the deliciously sweet treat. The great thing about using lollies as a corporate gift is that they are so flexible. You can choose any shape, colour and flavour of lolly to complement your business or brand. With lolly buffet supplies, Perth business leaders will literally have the choice of hundreds of different sweet treats. You could even have customised lollies in the shape best suited to your business. Most lollies are large enough to feature your contact details and logo, or you could simply market a company slogan. Whichever message you choose to use, it is likely to be carried around in pockets and handbags and enjoyed by adults and children of all ages.

Printed Wrappers:
Another less expensive method of using lollies as corporate gifts is to have your message or logo printed on the lolly wrapper rather than the lolly itself. This method does have its advantages as the wrapper tends to be a larger space, offering more room for company details. Often the message printed on a wrapper can be more easily read than if it is directly on the candy. This can mean that the lollies will look more striking if they are displayed together on a countertop or table. Printing on the wrappers means that you can choose a more basic lolly, allowing you to vary the colours and flavours. This means that your potential clients can choose the lolly that most appeals to them while still carrying your message.

Lollies hold an appeal for children of all ages and adults, making them the perfect marketing tool. The low cost of lollies means that you can readily distribute them to any customers or potential customers simply to more widely advertise your brand. So, before visiting specialist printers and corporate gift stores, with a trip to lolly shops Perth business leaders could find an effective and low cost fantastic solution to their marketing needs.

Lollies Make the Sweetest Way of Promoting Your Brand

Maximising the impact of your promotional campaigns is the key to generating sales. While this concept sounds simple, the real issue is how you can make any of your campaigns get noticed in a crowded and competitive marketplace. While advertising is a traditional method of marketing and an essential aspect of using social media, these methods are more effective for B2C businesses rather than a B2B business. You don’t often see newspaper ads, television commercials or even social media advertising for companies specialising in industrial solvents. So, how can small or medium B2B companies create a way to convey an effective and cost efficient promotional message that has a real impact? The answer could lie with bulk lollies online and lolly buffet supplies to create a sweet way to promote your brand.

The use of promotional products is by no means a new concept. For decades, businesses have created a showpiece to enhance their direct marketing campaigns. However, the creation of this showpiece can be a costly venture and it is no guarantee of success. A simple mistake in researching the best showpiece could actually have a detrimental effect on any impact of your direct marketing. We have all had a collection of cheap pens, keyrings or mouse mats that weren’t very good and we didn’t need. What makes buying bulk lollies online different is that sweets appeal to most people. Even if you don’t have a sweet tooth yourself, you are likely to know someone who does. This means a giveaway or letter which contains promotional lollies should be well received.

Additionally, promotional lollies really can get your brand noticed. If you are a potential customer, chances are you will receive a whole stack of letters each morning. However, the letter containing promotional lollies is sure to stick in your mind. This means that your letter and your promotional message will be memorable, which is the key to all marketing. When you follow up your letter, you can refer to your company as the one who sent you some lollies. Even if this call or follow up is six months down the line, it is likely that this promotional activity will be remembered.

To make the most of your promotional lolly buffet supplies, you will need to do a little research. You should find out the names of the people in the department or company you wish to target. Send each of them a letter containing some of your promotional lollies. Who knows when you follow up a day or two later, they may still be savouring your sweet treat.

Buying bulk lollies online is not simply just for kid’s parties and could have a real impact on your marketing campaign, helping to get your brand noticed. Lolly suppliers can often personalise the lolly or even just the wrapping to ensure that your brand and message are conveyed in the sweetest way.

If you are interested in buying bulk lollies online, contact us. We offer a wide selection of chocolates, sweets and candies including lolly buffet supplies. Our teams of sweet experts are on hand to answer any queries and help you find the perfect treat for any occasion.

Great Ideas for a Sweet Occasion

Whether you are planning a birthday party, Halloween celebration or another occasion, often the savoury food buffet can look a little dull. However, a sweet buffet bar can be used to brighten up the treats table and create a fun eye-catching element to your party.  From milk duds chocolate through to traditional sweets, you can create a stunning display which will amuse and satisfy your guests.

Vary the Colours:
While Milk Duds chocolate may be your ideal sweet treat, it is a good idea to create a more colourful impact with a variety of brightly coloured candies. You can use your choice of sweets to complement your colour scheme and showcase your favourite Milk Duds. Australia based lolly shops can offer a great selection of traditional sweets and contemporary classics to allow you to make a bold statement. You can even choose foil wrapped sweets or sugar coated candy such as M&Ms to make your colours pop.

Consider Sweets for Weddings:
While sugared almonds are considered to be a wedding classic, many people fail to consider sweets as a great part of a wedding theme. In fact there are some very attractive looking sweets which can make a colourful addition to your wedding decor. For example you could have a box or basket in the centre of your tables filled with sweets wrapped in white, silver and gold, if you are staying with an all white theme, or use sweets wrapped in your wedding colours.

Complement Your Theme:
If you are planning a party, chances are you already have a theme in mind. This means that you can choose sweets to complement the theme. For example, a space theme could have mini Milky Ways and Mars bars dotted around the buffet table and in goodie bags. You could even find Gobstoppers and other sweets that have a planetary look to them. Even a basic movie party can be livened up with the right sweets and snacks. You may have already had the idea to serve hotdogs and popcorn but the guests are likely to get a real kick out of being served boxes of Milk Duds chocolates for a real cinema experience.

Don’t Just Use Sweets as a Snack:
If you want to make a really sweet celebration, why not incorporate your favourite sweets into a cake. There are a number of sweets that can make stunning cake decorations. You could choose a colourful M&M cake or make an indulgent triple chocolate cake with chocolate sponge, chocolate icing and decorated with Milk Duds. Australia based party goers are sure to find a sweet themed cake unusual and it will be appreciated by adults and children alike.

If you are planning a special occasion, contact us. We have a massive selection of sweets, candy and chocolate. We stock traditional classics like lollies and imported favourites such as Milk Duds chocolate.
