When it comes to Death Sauce, Perth foodies have been
enjoying the Blair’s products for years. Death Sauce is not simply a table
sauce. This hot sauce offers a fantastic and unmistakable blend of cayenne,
chipotle and habanero peppers to create not only heat but amazing flavour. The
popularity of the Original Death Sauce has spawned a whole range of sauces and
while they do make a great table sauce, they also make a fantastic addition to
your recipes.

Ice
cubes

Death Sauce Meat Coating:
Death Sauce can be a fantastic addition to ribs, wings and
other marinaded meat. It even adds a great layer of flavour to basic foods such
as tofu. You will need:
Chicken Wings, Ribs or other food to coat
100 grams of flour
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 tablespoon finely chopped shallots
1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
60 millilitres melted butter
60 millilitres Death Sauce
To make this recipe you will need to combine the flour, salt
and powders into a large Ziploc bag. Add the meat or foods to the bag and shake
to ensure that everything is fully coated. Cook the wings or ribs as normal,
frying them or oven baking until golden brown. Allow the meat to dry on paper
towels while you prepare the coating.
Combine the Death sauce, garlic, shallots and butter in a
bowl. Place the ribs or wings in a large skillet and coat with the sauce. Heat
the mixture on medium heat, turning the meat to ensure that everything is
properly coated.
Serve with chips or your favourite side dish.
Either of these recipes makes a great treat when you are
entertaining. Whether you are hosting a barbeque or a more sophisticated party,
these Bloody Marys and coated wings make a fantastic addition to your menu. You
can use original sauce or your preferred variety, but you may need to adjust
the quantities to ensure that the recipe is not too hot for your guests.
Alternatively, you will need to ensure that you have plenty of milk on hand, in
case Death Sauce proves too much for some.
